I have been in Ireland for more than a year, I work full time and have veterinary background but I wanted to get back to studies and start something completely different. I decided to enrol in an evening course in Human Resources Management. I was looking for a college in the city centre providing classes for a reasonable price and very good quality education. And well, I have found the place, Westmoreland College. The College is situated close to Temple Bar, with simple but cosily equipped classrooms and very friendly, nice and helpful personnel. The course itself is great, classes are interesting, proactive and students are provided with a great amount of information and studying material. The teachers are very knowledgeable, happy to share their experience and willing to answer every question. I have learnt so many new and interesting things, learnt about different angles to approach problems related to employment, found new friends, and had great fun and gained motivation to continue in further education.

Course objectives
The Diploma in Business Studies programme is specifically designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of all of the major business functions. It will prepare students for supervisory and management careers and enable them to progress to higher level general management or specialised business programmes. The programme is also suitable for working supervisors and managers who require a recognised business studies qualification for promotion purposes.

Qualification gained
The qualification is awarded by the Institute of Commercial Management (I.C.M.), an examining body for students worldwide. Students who successfully complete the first year of the programme will be awarded a Certificate in Business Studies and on completion of the second year, the Diploma in Business Studies.
