Course objectives

The objective of this programme is to provide a general legal qualification to meet the needs of persons who work in, or are hoping to work in, the legal area in the commercial, industrial or financial sectors. It would also be of considerable benefit to civil servants and public servants. In addition, it may be used as a basis for further professional legal studies.

Qualifications gained

Students who successfully complete the first year of the programme will be awarded a Certificate in Legal Studies and on completion of the second year, the Diploma in Legal Studies.
