Our Mission

Our primary objective is to provide accessible and practical educational training through a range of full and part-time professional programmes. We strongly believe in a combination of academic knowledge and work-related skills.

For this reason our courses can be undertaken by those who are taking their first step towards third level education or as a post graduate option for those seeking to acquire specific professional skills. Likewise, our courses will meet the needs of those wishing only to broaden their knowledge base in order to improve their employment opportunities.

We commit to offering courses which are tailored to meet the needs of full-time employees. We also commit to providing a support service, which will complement and enhance the main objective of providing educational training.

To support our objective of high standards of education, we recruit highly qualified lecturers with practical experience in their fields.

At Westmoreland College we try to create an environment which is student centred and enhances the educational experience.

I have been in Ireland for more than a year, I work full time and have veterinary background but I wanted to get back to studies and start something completely different. I decided to enrol in an evening course in Human Resources Management. I was looking for a college in the city centre providing classes for a reasonable price and very good quality education. And well, I have found the place, Westmoreland College. The College is situated close to Temple Bar, with simple but cosily equipped classrooms and very friendly, nice and helpful personnel. The course itself is great, classes are interesting, proactive and students are provided with a great amount of information and studying material. The teachers are very knowledgeable, happy to share their experience and willing to answer every question. I have learnt so many new and interesting things, learnt about different angles to approach problems related to employment, found new friends, and had great fun and gained motivation to continue in further education.
