I have been in Ireland for more than a year, I work full time and have veterinary background but I wanted to get back to studies and start something completely different. I decided to enrol in an evening course in Human Resources Management. I was looking for a college in the city centre providing classes for a reasonable price and very good quality education. And well, I have found the place, Westmoreland College. The College is situated close to Temple Bar, with simple but cosily equipped classrooms and very friendly, nice and helpful personnel. The course itself is great, classes are interesting, proactive and students are provided with a great amount of information and studying material. The teachers are very knowledgeable, happy to share their experience and willing to answer every question. I have learnt so many new and interesting things, learnt about different angles to approach problems related to employment, found new friends, and had great fun and gained motivation to continue in further education.

Liaison Service
Open at Sensible Times
In order to ensure that students are provided with the best possible support service, the administration office is open from 08:30 to 20:00, Monday to Thursday, from 08:30 to 17:30 on Friday and from 09:30 to 13:30 on Saturday mornings.
A member of staff is always on duty and available to deal with any queries or requests which students may have.
Information & Registration Pack
Your study plan for the year
All students are provided with an information pack on the registration night. This contains:
Course Materials
Missed a handout?
We keep a copy of all materials and photocopied handouts issued by course lecturers. If you miss a lecture or misplace a handout, you can contact the administration office and get any relevant materials.
For students who are unable to visit the administration office (for example due to illness or pressure at work) he/she may contact the administration office and the relevant course materials can be forwarded by e-mail.
Institute Liaison Service
Get the formalities right
All students are required to register with the relevant institute as a student and for examinations forms. Students are required to do this directly.
For students that need it, we provide a complete liaison service and will assist with application procedures. We will also provide information and advice regarding all aspects of the institute procedures and, if necessary, make contact with the institute on the student’s behalf.
This is a critical step – failure to complete registration with the accrediting institute mean a student may not be permitted to sit exams.
Employment Referral Service
A helping hand when you need it
We operate an employment referral service free of charge for our students. Employers seeking to recruit new staff contact us from time to time with notice of vacancies within their organisation.
Notices regarding these opportunities are posted on notice boards around the college for the attention of students. If the vacancy is relevant to a particular group of students the details will be circulated to all of the students in the class.
Further Study Options
Lifelong learning
Students who successfully complete their professional programmes at Westmoreland College frequently choose to pursue further study options at for example – DCU, Trinity College or the National University of Ireland. In this regard the administration office will provide assistance with the enrolment procedure, with references and any other aspect of the application procedure.
